Over the line

I cracked 100 posts last night, so I’m celebrating by playing with my blog design. I keep going back to the old one, though, so do holler if you see something you like over the next few days.
The main thing that bugged me about the old design was the justification; it was fully justified and often went wonkus around photos. Is that a big enough problem to ditch it over?
Unrelatedly, I’m planning to make marmalade this weekend. Anyone got any tips?

The current version is a bit square and formal. I’m not sure about the drawing pins or having the date/categories/tags bit like a menu bar. I like the colours and fonts though.

My resistance to change is outweighed only by my tendency to boredom. I think you’re right about the design — will keep playing!
